چکیده
منظور از دستگیری، سلب آزادی فرد در پاسخ به اتهام کیفری جهت حاضر نمودن وی نزد مرجع قضایی است. این اقدام که مغایر اصل آزادی و با حقوق متهم در تعارض است، باید در نهایت احتیاط و با رعایت موازین حقوقی به عمل آید؛ و در غیر این صورت مسؤولیت‌آور خواهد بود. هدف از نگارش این مقاله، مطالعه‌ی استانداردهای عملیات دستگیری در نظام حقوقی انگلستان با نگاهی به اسناد بین‌المللی است. یافته‌های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که حقوق انگلستان به تبعیت از اسناد بین‌المللی، دستگیرکنندگان را به رعایت بایستههایی چون اعلام دستگیری و دلایل آن، استفاده از نیروی متعارف و تحویل فوری متهم مکلف کرده و سازِکارهای مربوط به این الزامات نیز در این نظام حقوقی پیش‌بینی شده است.

The purpose of the arrest of the accused, deprivation of liberty of individuals in response to a criminal charge is to present them to the competent judicial authorities. This action is contrary to the principle of freedom, Conflict with the rights of the accused and it is necessary to be with the utmost caution and observance of legal standards, otherwise it will be responsible. The purpose of writing this article Study arrest operation standards at legal systems of the United Kingdom Looking at the findings of international instruments. Research findings show that in the UK legal system to comply with international documents ،the legislator arresting's are obliged to observe the necessary such as announcing the arrest and its causes, Use of reasonable force and immediate delivery has accused the nearest police authority and mechanisms for these requirements are also foreseen in this legal system.
