Abstract

Electronic judicial services offices have been set up and developed with the aim of easy and fast access to the judiciary. In this study, from the expert opinions of 165 lawyers, office managers, managers and judges in Tehran, who are related to the performance of these offices, using a questionnaire, a variety of information on a five-point Likert scale and focusing on the role of these offices in Reduction of trial delays was collected and analyzed using SPSS statistical software. The present study is descriptive and survey type. According to the research findings, the correlation coefficient between the effectiveness of these offices in providing electronic services and reducing the length of proceedings is 0.607 and has been found to be statistically significant. Also, these offices have found an average of 3.9 units (out of 4 units) in reducing the average time of processing cases and 3.3 and 2.4 units, respectively, in "improving the efficiency of judges" and "reducing the number of hearings." In addition to speeding up the handling of cases, improving e-justice, speeding up the filing and follow-up of lawsuits, complaints, declarations, submitting and exchanging court bills and case documents, and eliminating geographical restrictions, and significantly reducing trial delays.
